I do believe I am composed enough from May 1st to talk about this now. This set did take a long time and it still looks crappy, but that's beside the point.
 
The queue was the length of the building, a block of buildings, and then the length of the building again. It was okay though.
 
We The Kings were so funny, they were like 'Sing along!' and no one did, aw haha. They did Check Yes Juliet, Secret Valentine, Say You Like Me and another song that I don't know, and then they did The Middle by Jimmy Eat World, and yes me and Megan (my sister) did scream.
 
Then Simple Plan came on, and I was screaming so much, and aw. They started with Shut Up! and straight into Can't Keep My Hands Off You.

I think that was it. The only ones I didn't know at the time were God Must Hate Me, Jump and Thank You, but I love God Must Hate Me right now!
 
In I'm Just A Kid, David shoved his hands down his pants and asked Jeff, Seb and Pierre for a high five (which they refused) before jumping into the crowd and high fiving people.
 
Before Astronaut, Pierre got this torch thing and was saying 'This is my phone, the new iPhone! Do you guys all have cell phones - 'mobl' phones? Hold them up in the air... ahh, it's so beautiful.. it looks like the stars; like we're in outer space...' and then started the song. (JUST AS I WAS TYPING THIS ASTRONAUT CAME UP ON SHUFFLE HOW WEIRD OMG)
And in Summer Paradise they bought out beach balls and threw them around for a bit. And they totally missed out K'naan/Sean Paul's bit.
And before When I'm Gone, they all crowded round and Pierre said 'Now we have the hottest, freshest DJ in here tonight.. on the cover of [can't remember the name] magazine... DJ CC!' That was Chuck (Comeau, hence CC) and he did the 'DJ' bit at the beginning of When I'm Gone on the cymbal things. That was sweet.
 
It was literally, Gone Too Soon (someone understand how funny I was there) and I'd Do Anything (and again) to go back. I wish they'd played Take My Hand or Anywhere Else But Here, but I was super happy with all the other ones they played. Especially When I'm Gone.
 
The girls next to me only knew stuff off of Get Your Heart On!, and it wasn't even their first time. I've been waiting five freaking years to see the guys! Ah!
 
I got some good pictures, and Megan gave Pierre a birthday card (she gave it to the sound technician who promised to give it to them, but she most likely threw it in the bin) and it was perfect. A bit hot in there, but oh my god. They looked so weird in real life, perfect. They were literally metres away from me, my god.
 
I miss it.

It's funny, because I'm listening to Cavanaugh Park by SoCo, and this is the song I woke up to after literally being numb, in hospital, after having surgery or whatever on my hand.
And now I'm listening to it and I feel as numb as before, only this time I haven't had drugs to make me feel that way.
My mind keeps doing something weird. And the only word I would use would be Cycling, but even that's not it. It's a term I picked up from reading It's Kind Of A Funny Story, and it's the only thing I'd find appropriate right now.
I'm sorry, I'm rambling.
I don't know.
 

 

I'm thinking of changing my username. It's stupid and childish. Considering 'k-onfusion' or 'goforeverforworseorbetter' just to set a trend.
I think I like the SoCo one better. What do you think?

So I'm really quite proud of this set, all the pieces fit together perfectly. Unless they shift, then I will be mad.
 
Also I have a complicated We The Kings/Simple Plan set in my drafts that I need to finish but I'm going to do it as soon as I'm not crying over the fact that I miss them.
 
So I guess that's my MTrench sets complete. I could do Brett, but there's clearly not going to be enough pictures.. haha.
